Anticipation is amazing. It’s energizing. It’s stimulating. It’s enabling. Just ask a 4 year old on Christmas Eve!

Anticipation is important. Think about it – if you’re really excited about tomorrow, will you be depressed? Will you be stressed? Will you be tired? In fact, I don’t know about you, but when I have something exciting going on in my life, and someone does something or says something to upset or discourage me, I find it very easy to say “You know what?! I’m happy. Life is good! I’m looking forward to tomorrow, and I’m not going to let you take that away from me!” I want to stay focused on tomorrow.

I think there’s a lesson to take away from that. Having an exciting vision for the futureand taking deliberate steps to make your vision become a reality makes every day exciting, makes every tomorrow an opportunity, makes every yesterday an accomplishment, and makes the future something to look forward to.

What are you anticipating in the next 24 hours?anticipation
Have you taken the time to actually create things that you can look forward to?
How has that anticipation increased your drive? Changed your day today? Effected your mood today? Changed the way you have handled today’s unwanted distractions?

Share your stories with us! Sharing your experiences helps others by encouraging them and letting them learn from what you’ve been through. So we’d love to hear from you!
